ATA TRAVEL INDUSTRY PARTNERS
ATA partners with the following organizations to promote tourism to and across Africa:
Africa Airline Association (AFRAA), a non-profit organization that aims to establish harmonious and effective cooperation between African airlines, and ATA signed a partnership agreement in 2006 dedicated to increasing travel to Africa and promoting the marketing of African-based airlines.
New York University's Africa House, an inter-disciplinary institute devoted to the study of Africa, and ATA partner on a number of initiatives, such as ATA's annual Presidential Forum on Tourism and special educational and networking events. Africa House and ATA launched a joint research project together in the fall of 2009.

African Union Commission (AUC), an intergovernmental organization representing the African states, and ATA signed a memorandum of understanding in May 2010 on joining efforts to promote tourism and development across Africa.
All-China Federation of Industry Commerce, an organization comprising entrepreneurs and pan-tourism businesses from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, and ATA engaged in an alliance to increase travel to Africa from China in 2006.Since then, members from each organization have participated in and presented at annual congresses.

ATA and the African Travel and Tourism Association (Atta) marketing as Advancing Tourism to Africa, are pleased to announce that the two organizations have exchanged reciprocal memberships. This move is intended to set the foundation for ATA and Atta to work together to develop an extensive partnership which will provide added value for the membership of the two associations who seek to promote pan African travel and tourism. Atta creates the platform for buyers across Europe to meet suppliers of African tourism products at networking events, trade shows and through its links with the media. Atta distributes news on tourism matters throughout Africa to its wide membership and acts as an information hub between the news media and the tourist industry in times of crisis.

Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), the premier source of Caribbean tourism statistics, research and news, and ATA signed a partnership agreement that will support both organizations’ endeavors to promote tourism to their respective regions. In the MoU, the two regions have also pledged to help each other increase business opportunities and develop sustainable tourism.

Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), a leading resource for U.S. companies currently, or exploring the possibilities, of doing business on the African continent, and ATA have worked together on a number of initiatives, including organizing special networking events in Washington, D.C. and workshops on travel and tourism at CCA summits in South Africa and the USA.

Dubai World Africa (DWA), a subsidiary of the holding company, Dubai World responsible for the development of assets in Africa and the Indian Ocean region, signed on as ATA's first Premier Partner (corporate sponsor) in 2008, providing ATA with critical support to bring the world to Africa and to promote investment in the travel and tourism industry.
Ethiopian Tour Operators Association (ETOA) was established in 2003. ETOA comprises 146 company members engaged in tour operation, and is the leading association providing professional services for its member companies to promote sustainable tourism and development in the country. ETOA tour operator members assure their clients that they their travel arrangements will be handled efficiently and clients will be met by professional guides who can properly connect visitors with the people and their culture

The International Council of Tourism Partners (ICTP) is a new grassroots travel & tourism coalition of global destinations committed to Quality Service & Green Growth. ICTP helps member destinations and their stakeholders share quality and green opportunities including tools and resources, access to funding, education and marketing support. ICTP advocates: sustainable aviation growth, streamlined travel and fair coherent taxation.

ATA has worked with the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), a membership association acting as a catalyst for the responsible development of the Asia Pacific travel and tourism industry, since 2005 to promote cooperation between the two travel trade associations. PATA and ATA enjoy reciprocal membership affiliation and are committed to exploring avenues of cooperation in the areas of climate change and industry expansion.
